The sailing trip was a special highlight for our kids and teens. They were able to take on responsibility, which was very good for them because they felt needed. It was particularly noticeable how balanced they were by the natural stimuli and opportunities: playing and swimming in the water, enjoying the wind and waves, watching dolphins swim, and being pulled along by the boat.
They didn’t need their cell phones because they were captivated and able to immerse themselves in another world.
A big thank you to our skippers for their openness to getting to know the world of our young people. They made a significant contribution to the atmosphere, both by lovingly and patiently involving the young people in the “sailing routine,” and with their funny and humorous manner.
